Chevrolet was founded in 1910. Chevrolet first used its current logo in 1913.
The Chevrolet brand is currently undergoing a product restructuring in North America along with all other GM brands. General Motors has recently been in development to make more fuel efficient Chevrolet branded vehicles.
The Monte Carlo discontinued in 2007, has been replaced by the Camaro. At the 2009 Detroit Auto Show, the electric car named the Chevrolet Spark was displayed. General Motors announced that the Spark, along with the Chevrolet Orlando, would go into production soon in the US. The Orlando will be a successor to the Chevrolet SSR . General Motors will also introduce two more new models: the 2011 Chevrolet Volt, a Hybrid ; and the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze, a model designed to replace the Chevrolet Cobalt. Chevrolet is starting a second generation Aveo which will be available in mid 2010.
Chevrolet models have included the Impala, S-10 Pickup Trucks and SUVs, Chevrolet 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks and vans. The 2500 and 3500 trucks are also available as Duramax Diesel trucks. The Tahoe, Avalanche and Suburban are full-size SUVs, while the Chevy Trailblazer has been a mid-size solution for families. The Chevrolet Express, Traverse and Equinox are popular Chevrolets, while the Astro Van still services families across the US.
